Text of Bush's Speech

Here is the text of the President's speech. Notice how the media is claiming that Bush is trying to "Ban gay marriage!" Of course, that's spin, not news. If you read the speech, or if you heard it, it should have been clear that Bush is trying to PROTECT MARRIAGE! Even Fox is guilty of it. As I, and many have said before, this entire issue is about preserving marriage in its historical, traditional, and current form, rather than let those who wish to destroy it have their way.
