Damn that US Constitution that doesn't allow EUROPE to vote for our President

This UK piece says: "If the human race as a whole, rather than 50 states plus the District of Colombia, could cast a ballot this coming November, John Kerry would surely win the presidency by a landslide."



That's probably true. Of course the "human race as a whole" would certainly include al qaeda, hamas and all other terrorists and rogue nations. Not exactly a group with America's best interest at heart. Neither are Europeans, for that matter. Sounds like the usual elitst disdain for our democracy.



Now, surely John Kerry isn't hoping that the terrorists win, but surely the terrorists are hoping he does.



That should make the decision easy for everyone who does have a vote.
