Traditional Marriage amendments

More states are lining up to save marriage by ensuring its defined clearly (as if it wasn't before). Many Dems (and some Republicans) have based their arguments against the FMA on the basis of states' rights. Will the liberal Democrats' new found respect for "states' rights" come out in these debates? Probably not. Since the Dems have been whining constantly since last week's election about the idiocy of the electorate because they supported GWB, it stands to reason that the Dems' state's rights arguments aren't meant to include the voters, but only state judges as the arbiters of these critical questions because the voters can't be trusted.
