John Edwards thinks it is 1964

he took a hedge fund job to learn more about poverty is making the eradification of poverty the central theme of his campaign.

Yeah, I bet those hedge fund guys are really broke. Hey, I have an idea. Lower hte poverty line to $5 per year. Then basically no one will live below the poverty line. Then again, perhaps Harry Reid can just declare that the war on poverty to be lost. If Edwards wants to run a campaign touting Lyndon Johnson's Great Society programs, he's gonna get lost. Or Edwards can get some new ideas, but that's not likely because the guy just isn't that bright to begin with.
