And what if you misrepresent what's in the plan, Mr. President?

Obama: 'If you misrepresent what's in the plan, we will call you out'

From Obama's Health Care scolding tonight:
But what we have also seen in these last months is the same partisan spectacle that only hardens the disdain many Americans have toward their own government. Instead of honest debate, we have seen scare tactics.
And from the same speech:
Everyone in this room knows what will happen if we do nothing. Our deficit will grow. More families will go bankrupt. More businesses will close. More Americans will lose their coverage when they are sick and need it most. And more will die as a result. We know these things to be true.
So, let me get this straight. The President of the United States is standing before the American people and telling us that it is wrong to to use scare tactics to fight the health care bills that many of us feel is being forced on us and if we don't pass the bill he wants then we'll be poorer, bankrupt, unemployed and dead. OK. I think I got it.

Scare tactics for me, but not for thee.
