Consult this!

Lefty Senators want Bush to "consult" with them before nominating someone for a Supreme Court slot. Unfortunately for the lefties, the constitution does not allow for that (not as if they've ever been considered that to be a hurdle before). If Scmuck Chumer wants to nominate a SCOTUS member then he should become president. Until, he can give or withhold his "consent" of the nominees of the president.
