John Doe Amendment/Common Sense survives the Democrats

updating an earlier item, a provision in the upcoming Homeland Security Bill (made controversial only because of the Democrats fidelity to political correctness in the face of common sense) that would protect people who report suspicious activity at airports (and presumably other places) will be protected from lawsuits like the frivolous flying Imams. The Democrats thought they had successfully filibustered the amendment, but it remained in the bill in the House-Senate conference.
