Message to Senator Feinstein

You do not represent 145 million American women. While you may think that you have a special responsibility as the only woman on the Senate Judiciary Committee, you need to keep in mind that you were elected by Califronians to represent all Californians, including male Californians. As a citizen and voter of California, I expect you to do your job and represent me. Also, assuming, as you do, that 145 million American women all hold identical views on any issue, but particularly on abortion, and that those views are coincidentially identical to yours, is naive and sexist.



Moreoever, you are not the arbiter of what is good or preferable for all women. You do not speak for all women in this country, and you should not pretend to.
